10 years celebration for the PEA

Our experimental platform in aquaculture has been inaugurated since already ten years! The birthday has been celebrated on last July 22th in attendance of many figures such as Hélène Boulanger president of Lorraine University, Xavier Fernandez head of department PHASE INRAE, Alain Hehn vice president of the scientific council of university, Benoît Grasser vice president of science policy and Eric Gelhaye director of scientific pole A2F.

This was the opportunity to vistit the platform and present the current projetcs in relation with regional, national and international interactions. Created in order to meet the needs of the research team in brreeding and experimenting with species of aquaculture interest, the platform was rapidly integrated in networks federating main aquaculture research infrastructures, specially in the different versions of European networks Aquaexcel and more recently AquaServe. It has also been one of the ten first research infrastructures labeled StAR LUE by the university in 2019, with the highest level of recognition (three stars). Of course, since its creation, the platform has been continuously developped : beside the optimisation of quality approach and the new scientific equipments, we could also mention the increase of capacity with the development of the zebrafish model. The rendezvous is given for the twenty years !
