Gaspard at the 52nd GFP 2024 Congress

The 52nd conference of the Groupe Français de recherches sur les Pesticides (French Pesticide Research Group) was held under the overall theme of ‘Massive reduction in pesticide use and associated impacts: what are the knowledge challenges and levers for action? It was held in Lyon from 22 to 24 May 2024.
The L2A was represented by Gaspard Conseil on the theme of contaminants in agroecosystems.
During the oral presentation session on ‘Assessing the impact of pesticides on human health and ecosystems’, he was able to present part of his thesis work: Ecotoxicological risk assessment of pesticide transformation products found in ponds: what risk for aquatic organisms? A topic at the heart of the issues surrounding emerging contaminants of interest, leading to a number of fruitful discussions.
Cross-disciplinary work on the use of biochars as a remediation tool was also presented in the form of a poster entitled ‘Biochars, a lever for improving agricultural water quality’.
