A new paper by the MRCA team characterising soil ingestion in farm animals has just been published (in open access) in the journal Animals (https://www.mdpi.com/2076-2615/11/7/2109). ...

It focuses on the ingestion of soil by grazing sport horses. The experiment was conducted in Ireland in collaboration with the University of Limerick. The information published has already been reported in the equine press:
